Did you know that in Japan, prepaid post cards with printed stamps that  have been spoiled (台無しにされた=書き損じ)or are unusable for some other reason, can be replaced with new stamps or postcards? You do have to pay some administration fee (事務手数料), but it’s only 5 yen per post card.

There are several different NPOs so I’m not going to mention all (any, actually)of them, but you can also donate your unusable postcards to NPOs to help save poverty. What they are going to do is to have them replaced with stamps at the post office,  exchange them with money at special shops and donate to developing countries.
